Last night I was in a pub and ended having some fab tunes with John, Peter and Billy...
What we did went beyond critique or disection.
It was from the heart, cock ups, bum notes, hillarious faux pas withstanding...
But we knew it was the real t'ing!
It's a good feeling!
Love it. Was at a session the other night and could only stay for two hours. Got that feeling and man was it the hardest thing ever to drag my arse away.
Cock up in the John with Peter and Willie? Are we still talking tunes?
We savaged a bunch of tunes Saturday into Sunday at a mountain cabin, sipping whiskey, slurping homemade soup and elk chili. A recommended way to welcome the new year.
Last session I had, was Yew years Day / Night ,,
Tooooo many- people . musician's, noise, and no room to play.
Hope new year's is never on a Saturday again -- This was a Quite
bit at the end of the night - : (
Danny- this was the BB King's Wig Museum. Finchley, TX next door to a certain Southern Wimbledon tube station on the Northern line.
It's a Sunday night regularwith Mssrs Coughlan & Bowe...
Ain't it sad that the threads reporting some of the happiest news are the shortest ones on the website.
It is great when everything comes together musically, and I love hearing news that magic has struck again!
Isn't rehashing an old music session not much better than rehashing an old drinking session ?
If you weren't there, and in that magic state, it means little.
Alas, for the music session, at least.
Session...
