Does anyone have any recent experience of flying with instruments on Flybe?
Planning to travel from Scotland (Edinburgh or Dundee) to Birmingham with my bouzouki and wondering if I need to pay for two seats...
I think the Dundee flight at least is operated by Loganair, who seem like they may be a bit more relaxed about things from their website - any thoughts?
Just hope it's not this week.
The questions have to be asked;
is your journey really neccessary ?
do you really need your bouzouki ?
is there an alternative means of travelling ?
Seriously now.
And remember, it's not Global Warming, it's Climate Change; and I think we can say we're experiencing a climate change at the moment.
I know the Canadians are laughing at us for being softies; we're just not used to it.
Yes - agree on all of the "do you really need to go' points, but fact is I have a gig and can't afford the time I'd need to get the train, for instance.
Last time i flew was with Ryanair, and I bought an extra seat that time, but Flybe want proper prices for their seats, so it's not quite as attractive a proposition!
I took the train from London to Aberdeen on Saturday, having been stuck for two days in London, which I was just transitting form Moscow.
It was comfortable and not too slow - Perth to Birmingham should be even quicker,.
I see Lyin' Bare are advertising cheap flights to Dublin with a picture of a session. Ironic really, considering their policy on flying with instruments...

Far too short term for that... try again in no less than 100 years' time.
