Just to let you know that I am launching new versions of Tunepal next Wednesday 10 Dec @ 6pm in the Cobalt cafe, North Great Georges St. The new website is now live with the following features:
Over 16,000 tunes!
Search by title in addition to the old search by playing
All new graphics, look and feel
New mobile friendly version for low end mobile phones
Coming next week:
All new iPhone and Android Clients
A native iPad version
Ability to edit and save your own tunes on the devices
Switch user interface into Irish or English
Search YouTune or iTunes for tunes
All new graphics & look and feel
Check out the screenshots on my blog: http://tunepal.wordpress.com
If you are interested in coming along to the launch PM me so I have an idea of numbers. There will be plenty of tunes & Christmas cheer
I have been checking out the new website in the last couple of days. It is looking really smart. I look forward to seeing the updated Android version on my phone when it is released. I have been tracking down tune names for our wee Glasgow session album the last few days and Tunepal (both on the phone and computer) has proved really useful.
Just downloaded the app for Iphone - it is awesome! Dude you should seriously charge more than $5 - I'd have paid $20 for something that works this great!
Ha, ha Dan - I know I love that it's cheap - but seriously - folks should get props for doing something this amazing for the trad world - I tried it out on Ted (who NEVER knows the name of anything he plays) and it worked great! It's freaking awesome LOL

Wait until you see the new version.
It is pretty amazing - if I do say so myself, particularly on the iPad
