There are no sessions reported here for Las Cruces NM, USA, but are there any players there? I may be moving that way and it would be great if there were some folks there to play with.
I don't live there but I will be coming down to see my mom at Christmas in Truth or Consequences - isn't that only about an hour away? I'd love to hear if there are any sessions down there.....

I know there is an old-time scene there - there is a fiddle contest every year in T or C. Zoukfest is in ABQ though so I'm guessing there must be something down the Las Cruces/El Paso way probably as well.....

If you get over to Silver City, look up Eileen Sullivan who plays excellent irish fiddle-- three may be some trad going on there.
