Short notice for a Franco-Irish session central France

Short notice for a Franco-Irish session central France

You're all familiar with the expression "more Irish than the Irish themselves" aren't you? Well, Sunday 5th September sees the low-key launch of a project to try to convince the French that we (foreigners) can play their music at least as well as they play ours. I've got the job of trying to smuggle a session into the middle of a village fĂȘte, sort of along the lines of the Commando Trad mission, but for longer ... and with more dancing. Actually most of the smuggling is done - I've got authorisation to use the dancefloor that's being brought in for a performance earlier in the day, and a fair few dancers are on standby to turn up and do their thing. That just leaves the music.

If there's anyone passing up or down the A20 that weekend and fancies taking a short break to play some tunes on the evening of the 5th, let me know. This is happening in the otherwise insignificant village of Mouhet, between junctions 20 & 21. Accommodation can be arranged (rustic, but free :-) ) if that's the only thing stopping you. Oh, and the bar is open till 2am.
