I wonder

I wonder

Another lost weekend, a haze of tunes and drink. What does it all mean?

Re: I wonder

No. Sometimes I think I should. But it might be my undoing.

Re: I wonder

So I take it the Portland scene is doing well then, timmy!?

Re: I wonder

Yeah, there's good stuff going on for sure. You should come hang out here.

Re: I wonder

Did you go to the Secret Society?

Re: I wonder

Have the odd bottle of low- or no-alcohol beer after one or two real drinks. It'll go down, it'll taste like beer, and you probably won't miss the kick.

It's a thought, anyway! I've sometimes done this.

Re: I wonder

Greetings all!

Given Jim's question about location and timmy's profile he'd have to live in NAVAN!

All the best

"What does it all mean?"

This is as good as it gets. :-)

Re: I wonder

Hey go Oregon! We have good fiddling going on down here in Corvallis too!

Re: I wonder

I wonder why people start threads with titles that waste our time by failing to tell us what the effing thread is about.

Re: I wonder

Lingpupa:

Just go to his bio, and you might understand even less.
:-)

Q: If we understand, it means we can grasp and comprehend.
So, does that mean you overstand?

Re: I wonder

Am I the only one who got this? timmy! was giving us a Portland, OR session scene report combined with a metaphysical musing. Very Zen. Close to Japan they are in Oregon.

# Posted on August 17th 2010 by SWFL Fiddler

Re: I wonder

Ian, I think Lingpupa was the only one who didn't get it.

Re: I wonder

Indeed, and now I've had enough coffee and I'm finally getting it!

Re: I wonder

Ah, a sure sign of decaffeination: thinking no one but you is alert to the world. :-D

Re: I wonder

Anyone who writes his entire bio in palindromic form is nothing short of genius (you wrote that?).

@timmy!, I meant.

I wish I was that clever...it's a Weird Al Yankovic song.

Re: I wonder

I love palindromes - it's quite a science - can't figure out how its done. There must be some simple formula for this kind of backwards/forwards/mirror writing.

Up Portland!

So where's airport? Couldn't the bicycling fiddler give us further insight on timmy!'s condition in the soggy NW?

...and palindromes, I bet airport knows about palindromes too.

Re: I wonder

After reading his bio, I suspect that maybe "timmy!" is actually the infamous western hero Palindrome in disguise. I learned about Palindrome from the group Riders In The Sky.
If timmy! is actually Palindrome, does he wander as he wonders?

Re: I wonder

"f I had a hi-fi,"

Re: I wonder

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems the original post is a reference to the great and terrible, the late Hunter S. Thompson.
