The Session >> Discussions >> Battlefield Band Tunes
A couple of weeks ago, Bogman put up Ely Parker in the Tunes section: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/10494 ...and posted a link to a video of Battlefield Band playing it (first tune): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX5RbEXjdPI Does anyone know the other three tunes in the set? I think the second one is especially awesome.

You think the second tune is especially awesome Joe? I think Mike Katz's beard is especially awesome

It is truly a beard that could fill a 'nine pint coggie."

Here it is: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/10517 If Mike Katz put a kippah on his head, he would be able to convince anyone that he's a rabbi.

Well, Joe, if I'm not mistaken, he is Jewish, born in the American Midwest, so that is not surprising!

Battlefield Band headlining at Priddy folk festival this year of course! http://www.thesession.org/events/display/1997

Al, I know he's Jewish, I've met him! Didn't know he was American though, I was sure he had a Scottish accent. But it was his huge beard I was talking about -- not just any Jew can put a kippah on his head and look like a rabbi!
