I came up with this today. Obviously some timing issues, but it's the basic idea. Please criticize/comment.......... just not about my ugly mug!

Bit of a dark horse in more ways than one......you are right about the timing, and the tune didn't last long enough for my brain to unscamble it.....sorry!

Sounds OK, but it comes across to me as something a fiddler might play as a "warm up" before playing in a session or for a ceilidh - rather than actually being a tune.

I'd agree with Mix'O, as you played it it seems like bits, with no regular stresses for one to pick up the structure.
Keep up the practicing, you'll be there yet.

It has many of the symptoms of a decent fiddle tune (going for a reel, right?). And ditto, all of the above.

Get something together that you can play about the same three times through, and post again. Love to hear how it evolves.
