aaahhahahahaha - now they've got a box player on the go, and Bob Geldorf's singing Irish pub songs - I kid you not... not sure my fellow Sarth Effrikens are quite ready for all this
Greg, I couldn't tell you... they tend not to let me near the cables and wires and mixing desks and things. Dunno why. That incident last year happened miles away from me. Well, yards anyway. Inches maybe. I wasn't there I tell you! I was dead at the time. What was the question? Oh right. Nope sorry, never met the man.
It was Nelson Mandela's prison number on Robben Island.
Mandela 'gave' the number to the 46664 Aids Awareness campaign he is mounting. The 46664 concert was a collaboration between musicians from throughout the world: Queen (sans Freddie, natch), Bono, The Edge, Beyonce Knowles, The Corrs, Bob Geldorf, The Eurythmics, Yousou N'Dour, Baaba Maal, Angelique Kidjo, Johnny Clegg, Peter Gabriel, Yusef Islam (the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens), Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Lady Dynamite, Bongo Maffin... bunch of others.

46664 session
Heh, I'm at the 46664 Mandela concert in Cape Town, listening to The Corrs & Roger Taylor play Drowsy Maggie to 40 000 people.
(I work for the company doing the live webcast, so I get to see the stage, listen to the music AND hang out online
