Anyone goin to see Sharon Shannon tomorrow in Belfast?

Anyone goin to see Sharon Shannon tomorrow in Belfast?

I’m heading to Sharon Shannon tomorrow night in the Cathedral Arts Festival in Belfast.

As someone who has bought practically every CD she has ever released thinking back i realised I have never actually seen her play live!!

I was wondering what people’s experiences were like at her gigs?

And if it helps I’m really looking forward to it so hopefully people could keep the bubble-bursting to a minimum?

Any other session.orgers goin?

Well she always seems to surround herself by great musicans, and she laughs all the time...maybe that's the reason.

I find her music boring and uninspiring.

I find it uplifting and life-affirming. Each to her/his own.

Went to see her playing with Dezi Donnelly, Mike McGoldrick and Jim Murray in Adelaide when I was over in Oz, was a great gig.

By the way, I went to see Seamus Begley & Tim Edey last night in Dolans in Limerick, legendary stuff. Try and catch them if ye can.
