A word of thanks

A word of thanks

Well, maybe more than A word.

I was playing happily this morning then it occured to me that alot of the improvement I've experienced is directly related to this board. Without the advice and encouragement from the members here I might have given up one of the things I love most , fiddling

There have been many times while practicing that the words of Ms. Lonleyhearts, Lazyhound, Ptarmigan, and yes you too Llig, and so many of you gave me that little nudge to keep at it.
Not only with technical advice regarding the instrument but just as, or even more, important the heart and sole of playing of this music.

So a great big thanks to all of you who generously give your thoughts, advice and experience to those of us who need it.
You have helped make me a very happy fiddler.

Re: A word of thanks

Mary, the feeling is mutual. You've often posted about playing with new-found enthusiasm, or joy at some fresh improvement. Happiness shared is happiness multiplied. :-)

And pain shared is pain diminished, which has been the subject of more than one thread itself!

Gather round, it's time for another group hug. We all benefit.

Spot on, Al. Definitely one of the primary functions of this site -
(after all, a real therapist costs a fortune).
:-)

Fiddle on, Mary!

Re: A word of thanks

Traddie's will bewilder most
Seek a warm and welcome host
Who'll share some tunes both night and day
Come what will and come what may
For at the end of every tune
Begins another very soon
Thanks to all who carry on
Traddie's gift for everyone
