looking for the notation for Andrew lammie or Mill o' Tifty from the Old Blind Dogs World album. Have also looked for other songs. My question here: does this site have songs and the sheetmusic to them as well as tunes?
Jenn, there is the celtic lyrics collection: http://www.celtic-lyrics.com/ I'm afraid that you won't find songs and sheetmusic for them here, though. Just tunes.
Try the Digital Tradition at http://www.mudcat.org . For the specific song: http://www.mudcat.org/@displaysong.cfm?SongID=3976
I don't know if this is the Old Blind Dogs' version. Whoever posted it there took it from Jean Redpath's recording. There are several tune files that I haven't listened to, but no musical notation that I see.
Do they use the more or less standard tune, which in G would be (ignoring the rhythm, which I'm finding very difficult to notate, but you can get from the lyrics): DGAGB,CDED DDGABDAA DBdBBAGF#E GF#EF#EDB,A,B,EE?
