Re: Do you know the title of this jig?

I could be way off, but it bears some resemblance to Joe Derrane's (aka Martin Hardiman's): http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/3321

Re: Do you know the title of this jig?

I'm pretty sure it is "Joe Derrane's" too - see track 1 on Angelina Carberry's - (although she salls it "Hardiman's Fancy") - it's a lovely jig and she precedes it with "Dermot Grogan's" which is also a great tune - I have been playing the set for a while now and love the way the B part just 'hangs' at the end - like it isn't quite finished

Re: Do you know the title of this jig?

It's Hardiman's Fancy - you've just got your barlines in the wrong place. Put your last note at the start and it comes out right:

X: 1
T: Hardiman's Fancy
M: 6/8
L: 1/8
R: jig
K: Dmaj

Re: Do you know the title of this jig?

I'd know it as the Hag's Purse - has that name on Catherine McEvoy's eponymous CD, also Custy's Leabhar Ceoil tune book.
