If you were a tune, what would your name be...

If you were a tune, what would your name be...

Inspired by Silver Spears recent post:
"I wouldn't mind being a tune: existing in a state of non-existence
until some musicians suddenly, with a few twiddles of their fingers, bring you into being."

So if you were a tune, what tune would you be?
What tune best describes your personality, the you of you?

Say you had an explosive temper, would you be The Tempest?
If you loved to sing, would you be The Opera Reel, or The Chorus Jig?
Say you loved your drink, but your doctor (and your liver) forced you to give it up.
Would you be Farewell To Whiskey, or the Temperance Reel?

Ethnical Blend would make more sense, though Ethnic Blend would be gooder grammar.

Re: If you were a tune, what would your name be...

The Sportsdirect.com @ St. James' Park Stadium Tune.

This is to wind up people I know who support Newcastle United.

It will consist of eerie bits of Northumbrian piping played backwards, chopped up and artfully mixed to imitate the wind moaning through the pinions of the Red Kites as they descend on the prone home team when they've been thrashed by West Pelton in a friendly.

But I wouldn't like to be that tune for very long.

Re: If you were a tune, what would your name be...

The Silver Spear.... obviously.... a fantastic tune but often feeling like a tired, broken down, lame old warhorse as it's played badly by many many people who don't know what they're doing.

My name would be incredibly long, like 'The crazed man of Pollaturick who wore his cat like a hat, rather fancied tea kettles, flied with the nikki-nikki wic wong bird, and saved Ireland and all northern Europe from the Giant vampire hamster of Paderno del Grappa using nothing but a fish and and all the electricity in southern Europe'

Of course, everyone would just call me 'That Tune'.

Re: If you were a tune, what would your name be...

The Strayaway Child, which is where me moniker came from. Not my very favourite tune, just very apt as those who know me might testify. I may change into a Voodoo Chile occasionally and after midnight on Mondays, I'm Tuesday's Child. Yes, that's Deena Webster, anyone remember her?
