Does anyone know the title of this reel? I'm not sure I have it all down correctly (esp in the second part), this was my best mental reconstruction. Corrections would be welcome! Thanks & Cheers,

The one thing that I always find interesting about this tune, and its companion - the other Copperplate - is that people fall into two camps on the names. To me, this tune is "The Copperplate". The other one is "The New Copperplate". But to others, like, presumably you, slainte, this tune is "The New Copperplate" and the other one is "The Old Copperplate".
It seems safer to call it "one of the copperplates" just like on this page: http://www.lafferty.ca/music/irish/flute-geezers Look for East Galway flute player Eddie Moloney's clips. (Not Maloney but Moloney, of course.)
I've never been sure which is the old one and which is the new one. But the tune in this thread sounds to me like the older of the two. It's actually very similar to Rakish Paddy, if you swap the parts round and transpose it down a 5th.

Easy. That's a version of the New Copperplate: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/887 Bannerman's version is more or less the standard version of the tune.
