I had that problem some time ago. The session at a particular pub in Bristol (The Duke of Cambridge) folded because of a change of management. I tried to delete the session listing only to cause - how shall I put it? - great concern from On High. What I should have done, and no more, is just to post a note in the listing that the session concerned had ceased.
In this particular instance most of the members of that session have located to a new session not too far away. I'll post details of the new session shortly.

As well as adding a comment that the session is no longer active, don't forget to update the schedule and se-select any days that are listed.
Don't try to delete a session. It's far more useful for someone to be able to find out that a session is no longer active than getting no information at all.
How do I delete a session listing?
How do I delete a session listing?
Don't worry -- an even better session has sprung up in a different venue to replace it.
