OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

How can you have an " OLD DE DANNAN " performance without Frankie and Deloris.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

True words are seem paradoxical.... E=mc2, but how can you have a New De Dannan without the Old De Dannan having anything to do with it .... E=mc2 unsquared? Can we "unsquare" a previously existing reality which can only be measured by squaring it?

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

De Dannan = God's Name (Dia Anam/Ainm) = God Rock (Hanum, dative plural of han ‘rock’, hence ‘(place) at the rocks’.) = Father Monkey Corporation (Father Ted dative nickname for limited and Hanumate monkey god hybrid)

The De Dannan molecule... it's all been proven by science!

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

You can't do it. It's like trying to put a fart back. Some things are irrecoverable, even through lunatic obsession.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

Of course. E^(1/2)=mc.
Simple.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

Sorry. That should have been c=(E/m)^(1/2). Or perhaps E/c=mc.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

So an unsquared De Dannan, is possible? Just Masses of De with no Dannan energy is possible? This goes against all of Professor Francois Gavin's widely accepted theory of relativity!

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

BTW as far as putting a fart back, it's simple, just fart again... easy.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

This is a one-off benefit gig for the mental health charity Changing Minds - http://www.changingminds.eu/ - a more than very worthy cause.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

Come on, EC, I do know that, but if you think her name's 'Deloris' too, then ....

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

A very worthy cause Floss , I have been down that Dark Road myself in the past ,and am not afraid to admit it as have many others . It would be a great line up even without De Dannan
Although I also admit to having an ironic smile at the thought of the name of the Charity and the absence of a certain fiddle player.

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

Can't put a fart back? I do it every night. Inhale 'em back in the way they came. I'd have been divorced for thirty years by now had I not perfected this skill.

A great cause I agree. :-)

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

Floss, I'm confused. what were you asking? was that the wrong answer or the wrong question?

Re: OLD DE DANNAN Performance in Galway.

Earl, Floss is just pointing out that her name is spelled Dolores.
