Re: Irony for the masses - anyone bought a new Saltarelle Rivage box lately?
can't help you with the rivage, but i do have the following for sale:
a) a black saltarelle nuage in like-new condition with five settings, the MM one set to about 9 cents of tremolo....purchased new through john williams several years ago
b) a black saltarelle connemara III. this is in very good condition, with the extra buttons above the inside row as on the rivage....the MM setting is a tad thicker than the nuage, but still not super-thick or distorted...like, 11/12 cents....

Can't help a wry smile when I think that my favourite box player is an American playing a French badged box probably made in Italy.

This guy is an absolute god, and I can't believe I missed out on buying one of these boxes which had been for sale for months....D'oh!
I'm just praying the build quality is good if I scrimp together enough for a new one.
Has anyone bought, or know someone who's bought, one of these boxes in the last year or so? Or does anyone have one for sale?

Oh yes, and the guitar player's no slouch either.

Thanks for that, ceemonster. I would definately be interested in the Connemara. Have sent you an e-mail.
Is your e-mail address on this site still up to date?
