Question about my previous thread

Question about my previous thread

I wrote Jeremy, but I know he's a busy fellow and don't expect a quick reply, so I thought I'd ask about.

I posted a thread a couple of days ago inquiring about threads in a certain area of the USA, as I've seen done before here. I came on the next day and the thread was gone. All the thread stated was the city and state, when I was planning to be there, and if anyone knew of any sessionsin the area that were pretty open. Does anyone know why the thread would have been removed? If there was something inappropriate that I posted I would like to know so I can avoid it in the future.

Thanks for any advice.

Re: Question about my previous thread

Oops. Inquiring about "sessions," not "threads." Goodness.

Re: Question about my previous thread

Did you follow the instructions when you submitted your discussion?

"Before starting a discussion, please read the following notes...
If you wish to contribute to an existing discussion, this is not the place to do so. Scroll to the end of the discussion you want to contribute to and add your comments in the form provided there.
If you are looking for a tune, please look in the Tunes section. If the tune is not yet listed at The Session, you will be able to request the tune. DON'T post tune requests here in the discussions section.
If you are looking for a session in a particular area, please do not start a discussion. Instead, try searching in the Sessions section. If that produces no results, try searching in the Members section for the name of the town or area you are interested in. You can then contact people from that place directly.
If you want to announce an event, please submit it to the Events section.
If you have a comment or query about a specific tune, recording, session, or event, please post it in the relevant section rather than here in the discussions section.
If you have a question or comment about the way this website is run, just write to me instead of starting a discussion.
If you ignore any of the above guidelines, your discussion submission will be deleted."

Re: Question about my previous thread

That would explain it. I'm usually a pretty thorough reader. My apologies, Jeremy. I did search, however and didn't find anything. I'll search a little deeper.

Re: Question about my previous thread

E-mail me through my account here with some details and I can suggest a session or two.

Re: Question about my previous thread

Luck of the draw, Jimmy. The whiz is inconsistent in managing our guidelines. Sometimes discussions about finding a session are deleted. Not every time.
Cheers,
Ben
