Once again I managed to avoid it, totally, in favor of small local sessions. Better craic altogether, and lovely publicans serving us free pints in appreciation of our presence in town rather than witness a migration to the larger city.
It isn't all about talent- rather it's about community. It isn't all about sitting with ten bodhrans and five guitars while three or four paid imported talent do their thing in front of the unwashed, as it were.

What a weekend-great sessions everywhere. Well done on organizing this event -it was teeming with talent.(Still going on Sun and Mon)
