The cost of bacon these days... a dots comparison

The cost of bacon these days... a dots comparison

Right the tune is The Price of a Pig. I have been playing through it today and I have two versions of the dots. Edgar's posting on here:

http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/4114

X: 1
T: Price Of A Pig, The
M: 6/8
L: 1/8
R: jig
K: Ador
|: ede A2 A | BAB G2 G | e>ge edB | def gfg |
ede A2 A | BAB G2 G | e>ge edB |BAA A3 ::
efg a>ee | efg a2 a | age edB | def gfg |
ede A2 A | BAB G2 G | e>ge edB | BAA A3 :|

(with the mode adjusted from Am to Ador)

And Ian Duncan's version:

X:1
T:The Price of The Pig
M:6/8
R:Jig
K:Ador
|: a | ede AAA | BAB GGG | eee edB | def gfa |
ede AAA | BAB GGG | eee ede | BAA A2 :|
|: d | efg aee | efg aea | age edB | def gfa |
ede AAA | BAB GGG | eee ede | BAA A2 :|

But when I get to the 2nd part I want to play this:

|: d | efg a2 e | a2 e edB | def g2 e | fdB BAA |
aee ab^c' | age edB | eee dBe | ABA A2 :|

Why? What tune is this? I can't find it either through playing it into Brian's search programme or using Rev's website with contour searches.

Thanks Pere. If only I had looked at my session.org tunebook as it is sitting in there!

Ach well. I quite like it in Amix. It sounds brighter.

I'm getting crosseyed trying to make sense of those ABCs; kind of like trying to read tab for guitar.
