I got one of these accordions a few months ago in England. It has a "Made in Switzerland'' logo stuck on the back and also a sticker from the retailer called"Bell's Instruments" who I believe was located in Surbiton. Has anyone come across other Hohners made in Switzerland? This one has a plastic fingerboard but a nicer one than the Chinese version. Also seems better made and sounds nicer. This comparison is based on just looking and playing two new Black Dots at music stores in Ireland so perhaps isn't very accurate. I thought that Double Rays made in Europe always had wooden fingerboards. Anyone know anything about this. Thanks.

Try over at melodion.net there's a lot of Hohner heads over there who know a lot about the German, Swiss and Chinese made Black dots.

Mine says made in germany with a plasic fingerboard which I have since replaced with a wooden one.
