Hey everyone, due a lack of sessions in Twickenham, im starting a session every Sunday from 6-8ish in the Garryowen by Twickenham stadium. It'l begin on the 11th of October, and im really desperate for this one to take off. Theres been a few sessions in and around Twickenham, but only one seems to happen on a regular basis (the prince albert in whitton) and its a very good session. I'd love to get loads of musicians down and for the first week, I'll be calling in as many favours as possible to try and make it a great session. If i can get it established I can get a bit more money, which im hoping i then can divvy out to people here and there as a thankyou for coming along and also to go towards a few drinks as a thankyou too. It'd be great to hear if any one would be up for coming along. I'm looking to start a few more, so if you come along i could probably offer a paid spot in another session. I'm starting another one in the red lion in Teddington, possibly early afternoon on a Sunday before the Garryowen, maybe 3-5, and pay will be based on attendance, as the first couple will be free to prove its worth. Unfortunately, I'm heading back to Wales in a couple of days. I'm with the folks in Ealing at the moment. If I were around on the 11th, I'd be there for sure. I trust you'll post it on the Sessions page if it takes off - I'll keep my eye on it for next time I'm in the area.

When you've finished your, presumably, day job of arch angel-ing, why not post this to the sessions section with a groovy map and all?
Then us in South London can see how far from the manor it is et cetera...Twickenham's nicely on the Waterloo/ Clapham Junct/ Wimbledon/ Kingston/ Richmond railway loop.

Whenever I visit London, I stay with my sister who lives practically opposite the Prince Albert in Whitton. The problem is that I can´t always be there on a Thursday night when they have their session, so another session nearby on the Sunday is really good news.
As others have requested above, please keep us posted.

hey, yeah its definitely going ahead next sunday. it'd be great to get a few of you down. i'll post it in the session section now and get a map for the south londoners out there. its very nicely on the clapham jct richmond waterloo everywhere else line, and is right next to twickenham station, 2 stops after richmond. a very nice pub. looking forward to seeing a few of you about
hey everyone. just an update about the session, its shaping up to be an amazing session. been getting on to loadsa musicians such as john carty, gerry o'connor, ciaran tourish etc etc, trying to get them along as guest musicians. it should be an amazing session
Got a message off the one and only Enda Scahill, who says he is very interested in taking part in the session. hopefully we'll get him along to a session in a few weeks
