Does anyone have an opinion about these pipes? I've been talking to someone from a pipe forum about buying a set, but I dont know much about pipes.... good quality? I'm a beginner so they don't have to be epic. Any input much appreciated!
And sorry if robin is on here, but I need a second opinion
This site's mostly centered around Irish music, so if anyone plays pipes here it's generally uilleann pipes. Why don't you look for advice at bobdunsire.com or the like?
or here http://thepub.forumandco.com/
Im Sure Robins Stuff is A1, but to know what you want you need to try or at least hear them. But if you dont have experience in this field you might want a practice chanter first, or perhaps something like the basic Kitchin pipes they are excellent for the price though their resale value is not high. 50% at best.
