Does anyone know of a way to stream the senior céilí band final from Tullamore tomorrow night? (Sunday 8pm)
I would greatly appreciate the chance to see my friends from Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. in the "Old Bay Céilí Band" perform!
If you haven't heard them, come on out & I am sure you will be impressed. The lineup is as follows:
Jim Eagan: fiddle
Danny Noveck: fiddle
Rosie Shipley: fiddle
Brendan Bell: flute
Laura Byrne-Egan: flute
Sean McComiskey: button accordion
Peter Brice: button accordion
Bob Smith: tenor banjo
Matt Mulqueen: piano
Joshua Dukes: percussion
Thank you for all your suggestions & good luck to all the competitors.
http://www.fleadh2009.com/love-cam is the site where you will be able to see a video-cam livestream of the Senior Ceili Band Competition starting at 8 p.m. Irish Time (3 p.m. EST or NY TIME). If it is similar to last year, the sound quality was adequate but the visual could have been a little sharper but we'll be happy to see any live coverage over here because there is also a very fine New York contingent called the River Rogues Ceili Band essentially from Pearl River area who copped the First Place prize at the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh. We wish both U.S. bands the best of luck.
