Lovely Alfonso 16" bodhran with brand new Blue Heron custom soft case for sale to an appreciative home. It is tuneable, of course, and broken in with almost one year of playing. Contact Linda if interested.
I am also interested in details, please. My son is an avid player, and we've been looking around for a better instrument for him. Please get in touch if it's still available.
Jessie
Also interested - though not a bodhran player myself - I recently broke the skin of my brothers bodhran (not on purpose - honest) and really must either get it fixed or replace it - not sure which is cheaper. let us know an idea of price and where you are.
Interested as well. I've been a bodhranii now for going on seven years, and it's time I got another drum. If it's still available, how much are you asking?
Call Alberto and buy a new one for a few dollars more. A used, beat drum is not an advantage,,,, it is a used, beat drum. Alberto will sell you a 14" or a 16" brand new for $399, after discussing your drum head requirements, based on climate, playing style, type of music. Besided, this used drum is most likely the WRONG one for you. If there ever was a true" custom maker" it is Alberto Alfonso. In fact, he will not even sell you a drum until he speaks to you in person, lets you get to know him and you and he determine the right drum for your needs...
Nothing wrong with helping out somebody who is having to sell their drum, though, Charlie, AND still ending up with one of Albert's drums if it happens to be the right drum for you. That's why people are asking for information, not begging. *grin*
Who the heck's begging, irish ruff? We're just interested in the condition of the drum (". . .almost one year of playing. . .", doesn't sound like it's been run through the wringer), how much Linda wants for it, etc. If she's looking to sell a good quality drum rather than throw it on a bonfire, good luck to her!

So - has anyone heard from the seller? I've written a couple of times, to no avail. Am hoping it is still for sale.
