National Celtic Festival Portarlington Victoria 2009 - Session Video

Hi,

I've posted two videos from a session last weekend at the National Celtic Festival, Portarlington Victoria - it was a great weekend!

Enjoyable session at the grand hotel last featuring members from:
Young Wolfe Tones, Grada
and some Oz groups - Trouble In The Kitchen, Squeebz and Rant.

Irish music is going strong down here...

part one first set is the flood on the road to glenties then i don't know the second one.

part two you can hear about the last two bars of Matt Peoples' then i think it's the london lasses then Cuz Teehan's then Fox on the Town then Ashplant (in Emin this time) then the Wild Irishman then the Boys of Malin again (this time with lilting )

Is that Benno on the flute?

Is that Davyd playing the fiddle (briefly shown on the left - surely Oz got tallent - but would prefer to see him dance)

and the tall redhaired girl in the back - the black bearded guy sooo miissed that ;)!!!!??

ahh - festivals and celtic music - it don't get better than that!!

Victoria in the dead of winter is a hard thing to do when in Oz.

Ahh - and Davydd - remember Majors Creek where you jumped on the table, kicked-off all the empties and showed all the Olympic-grade competitive fiddlers wher the feckin beat was???!!
