Possible replacement for bodhrán?

Possible replacement for bodhrán?

I grew up playing the bodhrán and must confess an enduring love of the old thing.

Oh ... just think of the brave new world opening up to once you trade your bodhran in. Gongratulations on your epiphany, and welcome.

Re: Possible replacement for bodhrán?

What a lark! It reminds me of one time at a classical concert at St. Martin's when a siren was heard for some time over a particular piece. The cellist at the end announced: "This was Telemann's concerto for two violas and ambulance siren, which shows he truly was ahead of his time."

In the meantime, Sash, here's a particularly apposite picture of a "strange tractor":

Oh, sorry, it's a strange attractor.

Dustbin lid?
At least you can find a useful purpose for the rest of the dustbin .(put things in it once replaced, then turn it into an incinerator)

Re: Possible replacement for bodhrán?

When the price of petrol goes up again the tractor will get paid more than the musicians. ;)
