...Sorry, I'm too lazy to work it out for myself, but you know the sound part of you tube or comhaltas or whatever videos, can you capture just the audio part of it, then maybe make or export or save those files as audio files, so you can later on stick them onto a memory stick or burn them onto a disc, just for listening to?
Comhaltas videos usually have a "download audio" button you can click - when it's done loading, save it to your harddrive. I use Audacity to record youtube audio as I'm playing the video - Leoj's link looks interesting too though...
YouTube & Comhaltas use flash video (. flv) http://vixy.net/ is a flv converter & you have the option to save the new file as audio ( mp3 )
With YouTube you can paste in the url address.
For Comhaltas it seems you need the actual flv file address. Which you can * find * in the View - > Page Source
A dumb question...

Re: A dumb question...
wow, thanks. I've done the old mundane way of using Audacity to grab the audio for my ipod, but that's a lot easier and faster.

Another option ~ Freecorder:

http://applian.com/sound-recorder/
Comhaltas usually has an audio 'download' button...
