I think The Lark In The Clear Air is one of these.
Nineteenth and Twentieth-Century songwriters and poets often took old Irish tunes and Irish-language songs and translated them, or gave them new words, in English for audiences or readers who only or mainly spoke English. This was done in Ascendancy and Republican circles alike, as far as I'm aware.

The song My Bonny Lad shares a melody with the first part of the tune Biddy From Sligo.

Cé leis an té leis an té leis na baineann sé dó/Johnny Jump Up
I I have the two Ceolta Gael books with lyrics in Irish but my sightreading isn't the best. It makes it easier if I already know the melody from an English language ballad
