Looking for a tune...

Looking for a tune...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2otyyk6KXww

Brian Finnegan playing with a great bouzouki and bodhran player of whom the posters don't give names... 3 reels, the last being Sutherland's classic "Road to Errogie", a favorite of mine, on an Eb whistle.

I'm looking for the name of the first tune mainly. The second tune is great, and if you might have the name, that's good, but I'm really looking for the first because it's a gorgeous tune to my ear...

So, thanks!

Yes, you're right Cuilinn, the first part is very much like Leave my Poor Pipe, though I prefer this tune.

Re: Looking for a tune...

No probs, it's a funky tune!

Over here in Manchester it gets played in the A major setting whereas Finnegan seems to be following the D setting, I may learn the D setting now too! :-D
