Danig, Marianne and Lazybone (2/3s of which being from Germany and 1/3 being from Boston) at the Fado session in Denver that Emily_AZ and I were at a couple of weeks ago -- great playing, lads! Tell zed12 to show up next time, yeah? ;) And give us some warning you're coming next time so we can have the troops out, right? (You could all stay at my place.) When is Tin Finnegan playing next? And where was your gig here in the States, and how did it go?
Wow! Thanks! We reallly enjoyed playing at the Fado - great people and fantastic music!!
Our only gig was in Bethlehem, Pennsilvania, at Granny's 'something' Tea Room. Our host was Bettina and Todd was looking after the soud, great!! Thanks to you all guys!! The crowd was rather small, but we enjoyed it nevertheless.
We'd love to make it all the way to montana some day, seems to be a big happy crowd that's gathered out there. If we're still the 'roving' Tin Finnegans in a year or two we might get there some day.
We'll be playing a couple of small gigs in berlin and surrounding area, so if anyone is nearby, let me know!!
Wow, so you were a member of thesession.org in July, before even coming to Colorado! That's great Daniel, I'm sorry we didn't have much of a chance at conversation as Zina & I left early to go to another session, but both of us really enjoyed your playing, all of ye's!!
Are you back home in Germany now? Going to play some Irish tunes during Oktoberfest?
Nice to have met you too, Emily! Yea, we're back home again, still a bit jet-lagged.
Not a thousand horses could drag me down to play at the Oktoberfest!! ;)
Nice to have met...
