I learnt the second tune from the playing of Tommy Maguire/Liz Carroll and they called it "Richard Dwyer's".

The first reel is one of Reevys

The second is Richard Dwyer,s (Finbars Brother)

I beg to differ. The first reel is the Whistler from Rosslea.

Btw, it surprised me at first to hear Joe miss a few notes one minute into the video, but it's nice to know he's only human. ;-)

The second's a great reel which I've heard before but never associated it with Richard Dwyer. Most of his compositions, although beautiful, tend to have complexities built in that make them a bit difficult to pick up but this one is definitely very accessible!

I just watched it again and I love that bit where he fluffs it. watch his brilliant smile fromn the begining, it starts to slip just a little before the fluff, like he's losing concentration. Then the fluff itself amuses him and he's back grinning more than ever.
