yea say i can't get the midi files to play....
i'm logged in and i have a midi software plugin...
when i click on the midi file i get sent to purgatory..
The first thing to do in this situation is to go to Play Control on your PC (it is part of the general volume control) and check that Midi hasn't been muted and that its volume is up to maximum. I've known apps to mess around with the Midi control for no obvious reason.

Re: play midi files
Some would say, "Count yourself lucky."
Did you try "Save Target As" (and then playing that file)?
