I'm a new subscriber who enjoys this website very much. I would very much like to get a copy of the cd you are putting together. Can you update me when the time comes??? I'm a (somewhat) beginner to the whistle, so I don't know that I'd be good enough to send any recordings of my own just yet, but if I did, can they be recorded on a cassette and sent through the mail? (I use the library computer so I'm limited to what I can access, etc.)
Hello!
I think the price of the CD is to contribute one or more traicks! This is not supposed to be a polished product, just a chance to hear what we all sound like, beginner and professional alike.
The address for sending tapes in in an earlier thread called "The Session Recordings -- track list". I sent a cassette tape too. In fact, i think i was the first one to send something (showing my low standards and lack of personal pride.
Oh, wow!! I'll have to see if all 10-19 of us here in Portland can put together some of our early efforts in our more-or-less learner's session. We have lots of levels of folks, lots of instruments, lots of friendly friends and a great email list.
Well, I think everyone's pretty much busy for the holidays. Kerry, have you gotten anymore tracks from anyone? I was waiting til I got enough to make a CDs worth before I sent the three I have (me, Glauber, and Toni) on to you...
Eveyrone else keeps saying they're going to send, but I haven't seen much else yet.
Let's get CRACKing :O
