Learnt that tune from a Jimmy Shand 78 record many moons ago. Knew it as Biddy the Bold Wife, and and although I've seen it spelt Bowl Wife. I'm inclined to think that it should be the Bould Wife as in The Bould Tady Quill (a term of endearment)
