For any musicians new to the tradition or may still consider themselves as "improvers" (I know - how long is a piece of string?), there will be a "Slow Session" from Monday to Thursday of the Eigse week starting at 7.45pm and continuing on until the normal Club Eigse session starts at 8.30pm. The venue will be the GAA Hall, Clonmel.
A few of us are staying John Moran's in Irishtown. If you drop in there and ask for me [Brendan Carson] or leave a message I'm sure we could get together?
Hello!
I'll be there next week too! I'm an italian piper, so if any of you see a guy playing the pipes with an "italian accent"... it's going to be me! See you soon!
Clonmel Fleadh 2003
Clonmel Fleadh 2003
Hup !

Anyone from here going to be in Clonmel ?
I'll be on the prowl for tunes and not-to-packed sessions.....( from Sat afternoon onwards ).
I'am imagining that some of the best sessions will be in the hinterlands rather than in town ... ?
Anyone wanna meet up for a few tunes?
Preferably in a small pub at the back of a shop
Just thought it'd be interesting to put some faces to names......
No pressure though.

No matter how "fast" I can play the occasional tune I'm always grateful for the "Slow Session"!

If anyone wants to put a face to a name I will be in Premier Music in the main street trying to sell a few of my fiddles.
Good Luck
