The comments about poor the quality of TG4 in the Faoi Lán Cheoil thread prompted me to ask this question.
No matter what setting I use, the picture remains small and often distorted. If I try to make any adjustments the entire programme restarts There is also much freezing of sound and vision. If I download the programme first, things usually improve but there is still some interruption. Is there anything I can do to improve matters?
I can view other video stuff on BBC IPlayer, YouTube and other similar sites without difficulty so the problem doesn't appear to be my computer or broadband connection.
I use Firefox (naturally...) and get the best quality on setting 4 and bandwidth 450K. You say the picture remains small - if you´re on a PC just right-click and choose full screen.
As for the problems with the sound and picture, I don´t remember it being this bad a couple of months ago. Could it be that traffic to the site has increased, and their servers can´t handle the load?
Thanks Bjorn. I use the same browser and settings. Never thought of right clicking I'm so used to having a full screen expansion icon on-screen somewhere.

I can't get it to play at all. I installed Windows Media Player as required, but I'm on a Mac so that might be my problem.
