Re: She lived beside the Anner

I sing this song. I first heard it on an old 1950's recording by Mary O'Hara, and then found the music in the early twentieth century fourth volume of Herbert Hughes collection, "Irish Country Songs". I will be recording this and adding it to my mp3 page soon. email to me and I'll send you the notation - alice@aliceflynn.com Check my website of songs for upcoming solo unaccompanied recording.

She lived beside the Anner

ooops, guess I need to add that link on the link page. Check over there, Phill. You will hear that aside from just a couple of words I sang differently from memory, it matches the sheet music I emailed to you.

Re: Displaying links

If you want to link to something from within one of these discussions, then just write out the *full* path to the page or file you are linking to.

For example: http://www.thesession.org

Re: She lived beside the Anner

Thanks, Jeremy. I had pasted in the link with more html, brackets and all to make the URL invisible and the title the hot link.
Here it is again:

She Lived Beside the Anner is at the top of the list on that page right now. There are other trad songs below it, such as The Foggy Dew - not the rebel version.
