Re: What's the name of this tune played by Dordan ?
I don't recognise it, but its rhythm (3 / 2) suggests to me that if it is indeed an Irish tune, it probably comes from the c16 - 18; it *may* be a tune composed by the famous harpist Turlough O'Carolan (c17-18). There is a website devoted to him (typing his name will get it) where you can hear midis of his tunes.

I'm not sure that it's an irish tune , and it also sounds to me like O'Carolan's music . But there are so many tunes ... I haven't found it yet. :(
Thanks.

Re: What's the name of this tune played by Dordan ?
It's a hornpipe composed by Henry Purcell, untitled AFAIK. A great tune.

And they've recorded it on their album "Irish Traditional and Baroque Music."

It's printed out in Peter Barnes' Vol. 2 of English Country Dance Tunes under 'Wells Humour' from Playford 1701as written by H. Purcell in 3/4 time.
