I travelled to Doolin in 1985 and stayed several weeks on and off in Paddy Moloneys hostel. I was playing fiddle, really awfully. There was a Canadian fellow there - MC, who played whistle quite nicely and was very helpful to me. We were friends for those weeks, and slightly stayed in touch for a few months after.
