Pasting ABCs into Concertina .net

I am sure that this has been discussed before but I cannot remember how it is done- How do you paste two or more tune ABCs into the converter at concertina.net to get the dots on the one page. Is there something you leave out of the second and subsequent headings? Thanks

The instructions say explicitly that you can only put one tune at a time into the converter.

However, if you leave out the X: and T: fields (and possibly others), and include just the M:, L:, R:, and K: fields (probably with no blank lines) on tunes beyond the first, you can fool it into thinking it's all one tune. But the tunes will all be run together into one long mess.

They do, but it's a lie. :-)

If you put two tunes in and click on the PDF link, you'll find the second tune on a second page in that PDF file.

I'm surprised more people haven't discovered this.

Admittedly, multiple tunes don't work for the graphic preview or the MIDI file.

Yes, but you still can't format two tunes on one pdf page.

Hey, I just discovered this: If you tack on a second tune with just the T field and then the K, the tune-a-tron will insert the second title between the tunes, and you'll have both tunes on one page. The second title will be a little smaller, the way it is when you add an alternate title, but otherwise it seems to work!

Another thing, if you format the abcs like fidkid did, the first title is seen as the main title and thus bigger, to format all titles in the same size, put an empty title as first like in this example:

The Convert-A-Matic is powered by abcm2ps. If you look at the manual page here http://pwet.fr/man/linux/commandes/abcm2ps
you'll see that a lot of formatting parameters can be inserted in the form of 'I:' header lines. There are a few useful ones. Try to paste this and check the pdf (the preview only shows the first page):

Anyway, you can always use abcm2ps on your own computer.

Or you can use a string of chord parentheses (as long as you type the tune title in upper case - lower case b is a flat sign) thus:

One thing, though, that I notice about concertina.net is that the midi doesn't seem to like chord extensions, so that if, for example, you type in "D7" it plays a Dmaj7 chord.

You can score out chords by putting notes in brackets.

The default MIDI, on concertina.net can be changed by inserting a pseudo - comment with an instrument patch.
