'Five Hand Reel' one of my all time favourite groups.
Bobby Eaglesham
Dick Gaughan
Tom Hickland
Barry Lyons
Dave Tulloch
The drumming on 'Frankie's Dog' is superb and I know the tunes to hear, but unfortunately the names escape me and I would need to do a search through my Scottish Records to find them. That will take a bit of time. However if it is just the tunes you want, send me your email and I'll send you the 'track'.
From memory...is it not The Orange Rogue/Maid at the Spinning Wheel/Dr Gilbert's?
It's been awhile since I heard it and my aural memory is probably all out of whack.
That set is" Kempy's Hat"", as far as I remember, although the orange rogue is a lovely wee tune and not very often played. Check it out if it's in the tunes section, or find it in O'neills.
Kempy's Hat is on side one of this record
'Frankie's Dog' is on side two and consists of a Scottish Pipe Tune in 4/4 (Reel Time) then a Stratsphey Reel finishing off with a fast Scottish Reel (all are tunes I've heard played by pipe bands) and 'Yes' the drumming is great.
Five Hand Reel is one of my favourite groups as well. And the medley, Frankie's Dog is awesome. Anyway, I am fairly certain the first tune is called Campbell's Farewell to Reg Gap (or Redcastle).
"Frankie's Dog" tune?
"Frankie's Dog" tune?
"Five Hands Reel" band with identical name of the album. The last track "Frankie's Dog" - where to find tunes. Any ideas, links etc.?

Re: "Frankie's Dog" tune?
Make that just a 'Strasphey' (the reel was a typing error as was the spelling)
