hey play both flute and pianobox and im doing 2 tracks on a compilation album with a fluteplayer - im plaing box
just wondering does anyone have tune ideas?, its hard because , i like george whites in c but cant b played on flute, love bonnie anne but crap on box , love harp and shamroch in a again on pianobox
Difficult job, since we don't know what tunes you know. Use a Carolan number for one, then pick some ordinary sort of reels. If you have to, you can let one instrument play the first tune as a solo, the other joins for the rest of the set. Bingo, an arrangement, and you can play one of the tunes that only one of you knows.
Good tunes for the two instruments you mention might include Dunmore Lasses, Sporting Paddy, Mulqueen's, the Teetotaller, the Golden Keyboard.
