I could just about buy it at that price, but I suspect it will double and more by the time the auction ends. I love the Sobell mandolins I've heard. Like a-ringin' a bell , as Chuck Berry might have said.
I'm trying to hang on for my trip to NYC and Mandolin Bros. and hope that pesky US$ takes a dive back down, just for the week I'm there please.
Price had already doubled in the time I was watching.
Seeing as how a new one would have a 3-year waiting list attached, the only question is how good it is for it's vintage ? Stefan has a constant process of experimentation and improvement so maybe older is not always better, from him.
