Anyone interested in flatpick guitar might be intersted in the following (FGM is a great magazine but no finanial interest to me):
A lot of people, subscribers and non-subscribers, have been asking me if they can check out a sample copy of the new downloadable digital version of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. I'd love to have anyone and everyone check it out, so I'm offering a free sample of the current issue (both the magazine and audio files).
If you'd like to be able to download a free sample copy of the current issue magazine and audio, here is how you can do it:
2) Fill out all of the information that this page requests.
3) Click the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the page.
4) This will take you to a page that asks you to "Pay Now". Do not pay, just quit right there, close down that page, and then send me an email (dan@flatpick.com) that lets me know you've filled out the information. Please put "Flatpicking Guitar Digital Sample" in the subject line.
I will then go into the back end data base and sign you up for one issue. I'll then send you an email back and let you know that you can log in (with the user name and password that you created) and download the current issue.
If you are a current hardcopy subscriber and would like to convert to the digital version, we can do that for you and since the digital version is cheaper than the hardcopy version, we'll also add some extra issues to your digital subscription.
If you like the hardcopy version of the magazine, don't worry, we will continue providing that to our readers who prefer to get their magazine in their mail box at home.
Thanks Dan! Very generous of you to provide the prompt free download of the magazine and complete cd. I have just downloaded it and I am off to check it out.
Although not really my thing I am interested in having a read and a listen to the zipped mp3 cd.
