Hi!
I'm going to the Great Lakes Feis this weekend in Lansing, MI (U.S.) to the music competition. I usually dance but I decided to sit this one out, so i'm going with my cousin. Anyways, I was wondering if any people between the ages of oh... around 12 to 20 (although I'd be perfectly happy to session with anybody. I was just curious because I really want to meet kids my age, please don't take offense.) or so were coming and wanted to session or something. I'll be in the fiddle, whistle, and singing competitions.
Let me know because i'll be there pretty much all day.
You do realise that 20 year olds dont usually want to hang out with 12 year olds right? Its funny when you get past a certain age (prob about 25) and you realise that age doesnt matter anymore.
That's not really what I'm saying. I'm saying that I'm almost 15 and most of my Irish music playing friends are 16, 17,18,19... I was just being general.
wow I guess it sounds like that. but no, I was just curious if any kids were coming, not like trying to meet them at some random place. I don't know I guess i'll just find out when i get there...
Your safe keelin, you just got Cruella for starters, she's in Oz and likes winding folk up whenever she's got housework to do... Give it time, you may still get some folks to respond who are aiming to go to the same Feis... You were brave to give it a try, in the words of dear Mr. McFerrin ~
