Hi.
I'm trying to figure out how to create .abc files, from the ones used on this site, so that I can import them into the software program, TablEdit, for creating notation, tabs and midi files. If I drag the .abc to my desktop, it's in a format that the software doesn't recognize.
I haven't used TablEdit, but I think you can cut and paste the abc from the website (at least that works with other similar programs). To copy, select all of the abc then either right-click and "copy" or Ctrl-C (command-C on a mac). Hopefully that will do it...

Re: TablEdit - creating .abc file
If you go to the Download tab of the tune you can download the abc, then import into Tabledit. Has always worked for me.

Ah, Mike, that's it! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - right in front of my eyes, but didn't see it. I appreciate it.

Re: TablEdit - creating .abc file
yeah... you have to open TablEdit first and import the .abc file.
