Apart from Bronwyn's excellent playing, aren't these two great compositions from Tommy Peoples and it's a great pity we don't hear his tunes more often.
I'm lucky to have some dear friends that care about my ears, and one sent me the above link, with the additional accompanying heart ~

Damn, imagination shattered yet again. I forgot, your the skinny kid with the wavy blond hair and the shnooz... Maybe the last was to do with the camera? You're right, I doubt Bronwyn would tire my view as quickly, but with some decent music and drink around the table I doubt too much damage to the senses would occur...
Who luvs yuh SS. To be perfectly honest, your background is all the beauty I need... That has the lovely Bronwyn beat hands down. Of course, by 'background' I'm geographically speaking...
Yeah ceolachan, I know what you mean, the view up there is breathtaking. Makes a lovely backdrop when I'm practicing. Your welcome to view it for real anytime.
I have to agree with all the accolades above for Bronwyn's playing which are well deserved. My own view is that she's one of a small number of young talented players who are technically excellent but, equally if not more important, retain the feel or soul for the music.
But aren't the jigs magnificent and so typical of Tommy Peoples. These tunes were originally recorded by him on a CD called the Green Linnet which also included a number of other great compositions - "The Fat Cat" and "The Mouse in the Attic" are two novelty hornpipes which immediately come to mind.
Just found the "Quiet Glen" recording on the site at http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display/53. I also note that the first tune is Jocelyn's which Tommy plays as an air on the CD. Back in the early nineties he gave this tune to a music class in Ennis as a three part double jig and both renditions work very well.
The jig version of Jocelyn's is my favourite jig of all time.
The only recording of it I have found is of Tommy playing it, on the "Fiddlesticks" album of Donegal fiddle music. I believe it is untitled on the album and he only plays it through once, so you have to hunt around a bit to find it but it's there.
I rarely find anyone else who knows the tune, so I don't play it as much as I'd like to.
Dave, that's my problem too as although I love the tune, I've yet to meet anyone else at a session who knows it - you're not coming to the Fleadh in Tullamore by any chance! Another option of giving the tune an airing is, if one is asked to do a solo (it doesn't happen very often at my age!!), would be to play it as an air a couple of times before going straight into the jig.
I suppose it's all relative Ceolachan and the likes of Peter Horan might consider the two of us as young upstarts! As they say everyone thinks that 98 is a great age, that is until they reach 97. I also think of comedian Bob Hope who when he reached the age of 90 was asked how it felt. His reply was "well it sure beats the alternative!".
We play the first tune around here in the sessions. Fine tunes. Doolish the second tune was misspelled on the cd print I think. Jocelyn's I learnt as a 2 part jig about 10 years ago when I was at college, did not hear the 3rd part and the waltz until I bought the cd.

Lets Hear it for Bronwyn & Tommy Peoples !!
This is one clip anyone interested in fiddle playing shouldn't miss (see http://comhaltas.ie/music/detail/comhaltaslive_265_1_fiddle_player_bronwyn_de_paor/). Bronwyn took first place in the Under 18 fiddle at Kenmare last Sunday and no doubt will be in the line-up for a place at the All-Ireland in Tullamore at the end of August.
Apart from Bronwyn's excellent playing, aren't these two great compositions from Tommy Peoples and it's a great pity we don't hear his tunes more often.

Re: Lets Hear it for Bronwyn & Tommy Peoples !!
Bannerman, I won't be at Tullamore but I might see you in Clare some time. (I suppose it's possible we've already met).
Playing it as an air isn't really an option for me as I play mandolin, and I don't feel that airs are successful on that instrument.
(BTW, Siobhán Peoples does, of course, know this tune if you should find yourself playing at a session with her.)

I loved it. Very tasteful ornamentation (inc secure double stops), used sparingly.
