Possible comosition?

I was sleepin last night and this tune came to me.I jumped out of bed and wrote it down.

I still need to come up with the second part.But does anyone know if ive actually composed a tune or just rembered one in my head.Does the first part seem familiar to anyone? Thanks

What is the "Gold Ring"? A substitute for the missing "P" in composition in dinn2's original message which started this discussion?
The only gold ring I am familiar with is the five golden rings in The Twelve Days Of Christmas.
My wife says I have no deep recesses in my head--just shallow ones.
